Overview

CupWatch is a Chrome extension for following the World Cup 2026. The extension stores preferences such as favourite teams, saved matches, theme, spoiler-free mode, and Pro feature settings locally in your browser.

Data We Store

CupWatch stores extension settings and cached match data in Chrome local storage. This helps the side panel load quickly and remember your preferences.

Data We Do Not Sell

CupWatch does not sell personal data. CupWatch does not use browsing-history tracking for advertising.

Third-Party Services

CupWatch may retrieve football match data and related news from third-party public data sources. If Pro payments are enabled, checkout and account management may be handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe.

Notifications

If you enable reminders or alerts, CupWatch may request Chrome notification permission. Notifications are used only for selected match reminders and alerts.
